Susan Matyas, M.S., D.V.M

Susan Matyas, M.S., D.V.M., received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Ohio State University in 1990, her Master of Science in Microbiology from Michigan State University in 1995 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1998. She joined Oakland Animal Hospital in 2000, after practicing at a small animal practice in Clarkston, Michigan.

Dr. Matyas has a special interest in cardiac and abdominal ultrasound and has completed several advanced training courses in these areas. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Matyas resides in Oxford, Michigan with her husband, two sons, two dogs and three cats. She enjoys reading, cooking, sports, and being involved in her sons’ school activities.
